Syngenta Münchwilen: Product development - the bridge between research and production    

The Münchwilen site is one out of six sites of Syngenta Crop Protection in Switzerland and is the only one dedicated entirely to the development of crop protection solutions. 
The site has been in operation since 1977 and for Syngenta since 2000.

Our employees design and develop processes, products and solutions to feed the company's innovation pipeline with professional solutions against threats to crops such as weeds, insects, fungi and diseases. 

The site plays a critical role in developing processes for new molecules and formulated products by linking the activities of our research and development sites and providing technical excellence and innovation for production processes on a larger scale. 

Activities range from laboratory-scale chemistry (active ingredients) and formulation to analytical development and product chemistry, to scale-up of laboratory- and pilot-scale processes, as well as application testing and packaging technology. To support these diverse activities, Münchwilen Site Services ensures smooth operations, providing efficient on-site support to enable all departments to perform effectively.
